How Time Flies- Updates On Life

Last time I talked to you here was in January. Is true, I got maybe a little too comfortable writing the monthly Newsletters for the One-More-Page Society (by the way, you can still join us if you’d like), a place where I delve deeper and deeper into the monthly theme, a comfortable and cosy place, where time passes slowly and seasonally, there’s no fear of missing out, and somehow – despite the slow pace – you still grow taller and deeper than you ever thought possible.

TIME FLIES OVER US, BUT LEAVES ITS SHADOW BEHIND.
~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

Writing the Newsletter is all the writing I am capable at the moment. This is a hard reality and it feels so raw to say it out loud.

I AM STUCK.

Been revising and editing Book III of The Whispers of the Graces at the beginning of this year and somewhere along the way I stopped.  I fell short. Uninspired became my middle name. Got lost in the story and not the good kind of lost. So, what is a writer that is not writing? A dreamer. I am, my friends a dreamer these days…

I would do anything at this point besides writing. Read? Check. Daydream? Check. Complain? Check. Pity-party? Check. Draw? Check. Go out for long walks and even longer coffee-runs? Check. Hapa-zome? Check. Don’t know what that is? Is printing with flowers. (google it, it is fun! and rewarding!) I told you… anything at this point but what a writer has to do.

I thought about posting more often here on the blog, maybe some accountability will come out of it, but it gets cosier and more comfortable crying the crocodile tears in the Newsletter, those people are so kind and understanding… Don’t come at me, you kind and understanding people! I do love you for that!

So, I decided to share with you the cover for Book III. Out of the blue like that. Just to feel I am moving. Not lost. Not (just) a dreamer.

So, there is no big reveal, there is no marketing, no social media, just this. The beautiful cover prepared for the third book.
I would love to tell you stories. A story about a brave little girl, who healed her heart while healing the world around her, who believed the greater good should be on everyone’s mind, and who could not breathe without her faith, family, and friends. This girl is Katie. This girl could be you. This girl for sure is me sometimes. Oftentimes.

Would you like to hear her story?

Much love,
Roxana
