Community

Somewhere between the noise of the internet and the ticking of our overbooked calendars, many of us are quietly longing for something slower, more intentional –  and more alive.

Not another productivity hack. Not a morning routine that squeezes even more out of the day. But something softer. Spacious. Something that reminds us that life is still a place of beauty, wonder, and meaning.

That longing is what created the One-More-Page Societythis monthly newsletter project turned sanctuary for creatives, thinkers, writers, and seekers who want to live with more depth and to create a true community. Each month, a new theme arrives like a letter from a friend – inviting not to hustle, but to return.

Return to the page.
To the body.
To breath.
To the wild.

To ourselves.

It’s not just a newsletter. It’s a rhythm. A ritual. A community who supports growth. A tiny rebellion against the speed and noise of the modern world. It is something I lost myself into and something that got me much joy back, especially when the feedback started to pour back to me in such different forms, from such different people. I am not one to look at where my message lands, or where the people read my writings, but it was quite emotional when I got input from all over the place. From old friends to new friends, kind words, and detailed adventures based on the monthly word, from „criticism” over chosen ones, to proposing new themes, all lead me to thinking there is a speckled group out there who looks for such thoughts. Yes, I refuse to call it „content”.

Below I’ll put a little crash course into the One-More-Page themes we’ve been exploring over the past few months – a peek into the rhythm of reflection, creativity, and intentional living. But it’s also a seed that was planted in June’s newsletter (Theme: Nourish and Create): the idea of building a vibrant, supportive community where creativity flourishes through shared nourishment, togetherness, and meaningful connection.

In June, what began as a simple idea turned into something much bigger than we anticipated. A group of us (larger than we’d planned!) headed to the mountains, seeking stillness and connection. What we found was unforgettable. We nourished more than just our bodies – we nourished our friendships, our creativity, and our inner selves. We laughed, talked deeply about life, ate incredible food, drank far too much coffee, raided two bookstores, and returned with tired feet, full bellies, overflowing rucksacks, and hearts lit up with joy.

The experience left me craving more – more shared adventures, more intentional pauses, more space for wildering together. All I want now is to plan the next journey. Another chance to stray from the frantic pace and instead move slowly, meaningfully, intentionally – with kindred spirits by my side.

So, for September I plan a group meet in the city this time, in a safe space – will talk more about it in due time – with coffee, books, smiley faces, dear people, hoping that strangers will become again – by magic – friends… There is also a theme in place… and I will share it with you in the next newsletter, it was proposed by a wonderful human being who is clocking on my monthly themes since the beginning, with whom I talk regularly about the words and their impact on the month, and why not… life. I believe in the collective good, in the collective mind, the collective soul, sharing experiences and sharing the bread, coming out better, more empowered, healed.

Do you want to be among us? All you need to do is say Yes! to the call of wildering.

Wildering

Wildering, n.(Bot.) A plant growing in a state of nature; especially, one which has run wild, or escaped from cultivation. (Webster’s Dictionary)

A Year in Themes: A Living Journal of the Soul

The newsletter began with a simple idea: what if each month had a mood? A guiding word, not as a rule, but as a doorway — something we could all walk through together. Over time, the themes have created a soft kind of narrative arc. Here’s a look back:

April: Rekindle

Spring invited us to reignite what had gone dim — old dreams, creative sparks, quiet passions. Some of us returned to ancient stories and civilizations. Others picked up pens, paints, or plants. We asked: What still lives in you, waiting to be seen again?

May: In Bloom, In Motion

The world around us was blooming, and so were we. We said yes to movement — walks, road trips, life changes. Yes to curiosity. Yes to momentum. “Go” was the mantra, and we followed it — not to escape, but to arrive.

June: Nourish and Create

A quieter month. A deeper one. We slowed down and turned inward. We remembered that to create well, we must first nourish. Not just our bodies, but our hearts, our minds, our pace. It was a return to the basics: bread, breath, beauty, belonging.

July: Experiment

With summer in full swing, July dared us to try. New things. Wild things. Simple things we’d put off for too long. It didn’t matter what, so long as we could say: I tried. That was enough. That was everything.

August: Breathe

And now — after blooming, creating, experimenting — we breathe. Not because we’re done. But because we’re human. We rest not as a reward, but as a requirement. Inhale. Exhale. Begin again.

Why It Matters

This newsletter isn’t about productivity. It’s about presence. It’s not a list of tips or tricks to optimize your life. It’s an invitation to actually live it.

In a world obsessed with doing, One-More-Page asks you to feel again. To return to the moment. To get curious. To get messy. To make something. To rest. To get wilder.

And in doing so, you start to realize something quietly radical:

A slower, more meaningful life is not only possible — it’s already within reach.
One page at a time.

I truly hope to see you this September!

With love,

Roxana
