2023 Retrospective

“You must learn some of my philosophy. Think only of the past as its remembrance gives you pleasure.”
-Jane Austen

In the ebb of the passing year, memories cascade like snowflakes. Moments of triumph whispered alongside trials in a silent dialogue of growth. Each day, an unwritten chapter etched with laughter and laments, a patchwork of resilience. In retrospect, the year’s kaleidoscope of hues unveils resilience threaded into moments of adversity. Challenges unveiled hidden strengths; laughter echoed through shared connections. It was a canvas of transformation, etched with lessons and unspoken wisdom. Amidst uncertainties, emerged the quiet strength to weather the storm.

As the year waned, nostalgia embraced, acknowledging a journey of metamorphosis in a year’s fleeting embrace.

My main success last year was publishing! Something I planned for a while now and despite all the hurdles and setbacks, I was finally able to do.

So, in 2023 the first book of The Whispers of the Graces Series was published in both Romanian and English, and is available now on several platforms.
Also the Romanian paperback is exclusively distributed thorough Ilaberry.co. I know for sure they still have some copies with autograph on them, so give them a shoutout.
And for the eBook options, here below the link of links!

And when it comes to a retrospective, a writer is a reader first. 2023 was not a year of reading however, for I could only manage to finish ~40 books.
Here’s a short list for you to get inspired:

Elif Shafak- The Island of Missing Trees
Donna Tart – The Secret History
Satoshi Yagisawa – Days at the Morisaki Bookshop
Alexandru Mitru – Legendă valahă: Strălucitoarea sabie. Volumul al III-lea
Min Jin Lee – Pachinko

Let’s hope for a 50+ in 2024!
